Vetcor's Wild Ride at VMX 2025!

VMX hosted nearly 30,000 attendees this year from 86 countries. Team Vetcor made the booth truly "unfurrgetable," inviting countless visitors to experience firsthand why life is better here. During the event our 2024 class of Certified Veterinary Mentors celebrated their graduation, while the inaugural group of Emerging Leaders received recognition for completing Vetcor's groundbreaking program. To top it all off, team members had the chance to meet up at our SeaWorld event. The thrill-seekers among us couldn't resist the adrenaline-pumping roller coaster!
With an event space conducive to conversation and connection, visitors this year easily flowed through and chatted with team members from human resources, recruiting, marketing, operations, and hospital staff. The only thing that could make the booth better was puppies, so we brought them! Visitors not only got to pet this adorable duo, but they also had the opportunity to suggest names for the male and female puppies who will be joining the local service dog program.
After a stellar inaugural year, the 2024 class graduating from the Mentorship Certification Program knew they were in good company. The program aims to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and provide guidance to veterinarians so they can support their fellow doctors in their hospitals. Our certification offers a structured framework that helps our team grow not only as veterinarians but also as compassionate, well-rounded professionals. Their graduation event was a heartwarming celebration, filled with laughter and applause. It was a deeply meaningful time, allowing them to strengthen their bonds and create lasting memories together. Dr. Sarah Hirsch, a graduate of the program, shared, “It's always great to make connections, and now having actually met these fellow mentors makes it feel more like they're colleagues than just a name on a screen. It makes it a more comfortable relationship to be able to work together towards mentorship and better our profession for the next generation of vets.”
The Emerging Leaders Program graduates gathered at the place it all began in 2024 to commemorate their dedication to completing the program. These seasoned team members further honed their emotional intelligence, enhancing their ability to positively influence peers and coworkers through the program. The celebration highlighted their individual and collective achievements, reinforcing the value of their hard work. Chad Harris, Vice President of Veterinary Leadership, remarked, “The vibe in the room was incredibly uplifting and celebratory. There was a palpable sense of achievement and camaraderie among the graduates, mentors, and attendees. The atmosphere was filled with pride and excitement as everyone gathered to honor the hard work and dedication of the first-ever graduating class of the Emerging Leaders Program. This event served as a powerful reminder of the supportive community they have built, which will continue to inspire and guide the graduates in their future endeavors.” The presence of top Vetcor leadership emphasized the importance of the event and the achievements of all participants.
Team Vetcor had an unforgettable adventure at SeaWorld Orlando, thanks to our collaboration with Royal Canin. The team enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of fun at the Ports of Call. The highlight of the evening was exclusive access to SeaWorld's newest rollercoaster, offering thrilling rides to all. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and camaraderie as Team Vetcor came together to let off some steam. Event planners Alexandra Prater and Kendall Point from the Marketing team shared, “We wanted to create a special Vetcor event this year, and SeaWorld was perfect! It was incredible to learn about their rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation efforts. Seeing everyone's happy faces after the rollercoaster was amazing! We were thrilled to partner with Royal Canin to celebrate our outstanding team members who attended VMX this year.” It was truly a night to remember!
