Celebrating Long-Term Dedication at Vetcor

We believe that “Life is better here,” and nothing proves that more than the incredible team members who have chosen to grow their careers with us throughout the years. Their stories reflect their personal achievements and the supportive culture that make Vetcor a place where people thrive. We’re honored to share the experiences of three outstanding individuals whose dedication and longevity inspire us all.

Lindsay Knepprath, DVM — 10 Years of Leadership at Panther Creek Pet Clinic

Chief of Staff, Panther Creek Pet Clinic/Grogan's Mill Pet Clinic, The Woodlands, TXLindsay Knepprath

For Dr. Knepprath, leadership became a defining moment in her career:

“When our original owner elected to retire, it was an honor that I was promoted to Chief of Staff. It was especially meaningful to me, because I knew the legacy he wanted carried on, and to be considered for such as important role meant the world to me. I still work hard every day to uphold that legacy. At our clinic, we have a close-knit group, and many of us have been there for 5 to 10 years or more. I not only attribute this to our leadership in the clinic, but also the structure and support that Vetcor provides. Vetcor's motto of ‘Life is better here’ really holds true in our hospital.”

Patricia McPherson — 35 Years of Teamwork at Hingham Animal Clinic

Technician, Hingham Animal Clinic, Hingham, MA

Patricia’s story reminds us of the teamwork and resilience that define Vetcor hospitals:

“One memory that stands out most to me is the time a client came in with a dog that went into respiratory and cardiac arrest. I took the dog from the client and ran back to the treatment area yelling for a doctor. A team of several of us worked on that dog until it was brought back from the dead; it was truly amazing. The individuals that work at HAC are a special breed. We all have our tasks to do but work together to obtain the very best outcome for the pets we all love. Veterinary medicine is not for the faint of heart, but it is a job where you go home with pride and a sense of accomplishment.”

Amy Klotz, RVT — 30 Years Growing with Vetcor as Regional Manager

Regional Manager, FloridaAmy Klotz

Amy’s journey showcases the growth opportunities available at Vetcor:

“When our hospital partnered with Vetcor, I became a hospital manager. Over the years, I was asked to assist with special projects and hospitals in need of further assistance, which provided me with opportunities for more experience and growth. I was able to grow with the company and move into a regional manager role. I am so grateful for the opportunities for growth within Vetcor!”

Why Life Is Better Here: A Culture of Growth and Support

These reflections on their careers offer a glimpse into what makes Vetcor special for everyone: a culture of support, collaboration, and opportunity. From career advancement to unforgettable moments of teamwork, our hospitals are places where people feel valued and empowered to make a difference. We’re honored to have so many team members who have chosen to stay with us for years, and we look forward to continuing to build a workplace where life truly is better.
