VetCor Welcomes The Animal Doctor

The Animal Doctor has become VetCor's 360th partner practice and its fourth location in the Golden State.
Established in 1995 by Dr. Shelly Wilson, The Animal Doctor has been providing high quality care to cats, dogs, and pocket pets in the Ventura area for over 25 years. This full-service animal hospital has been proudly accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2011.
A graduate of Colorado State University, Dr. Wilson is a veterinarian with over two decades of experience. She’s passionate about nurturing the human-animal bond and, as a competitive jumper, she holds a special place in her heart for horses.
Dr. Wilson works alongside Drs. Stephanie Pinkerton and KaLee Pasek. Dr. Pinkerton has a special interest in holistic care. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture. A certified hospice and palliative care veterinarian, Dr. Pasek is also a published author and an active educator. Her professional interests include geriatric care and end of life care.
The doctors are supported by their lead patient care coordinator, Michaela, their lead client care coordinator, Stacy, their lead receptionist, Carrie, and a knowledgeable team of veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists who love what they do. In fact, several of them are now Fear Free certified.
The Animal Doctor provides their clients with a wide range of services, including wellness exams and vaccines, dentistry, surgery, hospice care, and more. They also tout an in-house pharmacy.
