TechLife Update: Educating and Engaging

Support for personal and professional growth is one of the reasons why life is better here at Vetcor. Through TechLife, we provide veterinary technicians and support staff comprehensive resources and benefits, support their career development goals, offer valuable continuing education opportunities, facilitate live forums for connection, and ensure our technicians have a platform to voice their opinions.
Tuition Support
Each year, hundreds of our technicians benefit from tuition support, and this year we have doubled the amount of support available through this TechLife program. Additionally, funds are now provided up-front, enabling more team members to pursue their educational goals. Technicians use these funds not only to offset tuition but also to cover school-related expenses such as parking passes, books, field trips, and other supplies.
Vetcor also proudly awarded 60 of our technicians a one-time $2,000 grant, generously provided by Zoetis. The winners were selected at random from over 600 applicants. This grant honors the dedication our technicians have shown toward their education, their hospitals, and their patients and clients.
Events
TechLife has brought back the highly popular VTNE trivia nights! Technicians from across the U.S. and Canada had two opportunities to participate at different times, making it accessible for everyone. The latest trivia session covered all topics, including anesthesia, which aligned with our exclusive Vetcor anesthesia live three-part webinar series, which was available to all team members from August through October. These trivia nights are a fantastic way for technicians to advance their careers and connect with one another.
Online Community
The TechLife Facebook group remains a vibrant hub of information, celebration, and fun! From the National Technician Week contest in October to advice on the best dental mats, technicians can lean on each other and engage in network-wide initiatives all in one place. Beyond collaboration and information sharing, all events are promoted here, ensuring no one misses the chance to join an amazing trivia night.
