Celebrating An Entire Year of TechLife

Can you believe it’s been an entire year since the TechLife team first came together? It’s been a whirlwind of a year for all of us, but they still managed to form a team from scratch, create a space for our techs to communicate and share ideas, and establish and achieve their goals. Amazing!
These are just a few highlights showcasing what the TechLife team has done in the last year:
- Created a Facebook group that’s now over 1,000 members strong
- Produced a variety of resources for our techs that encouraged opportunities for training, skill development, continuing education, and utilizing their yearly CE budget
- Hosted several webinars that focused on subjects such as prepping for the VTNE, safely restraining patients, proper venipuncture technique, and more
- Held a number of open forum events that allowed techs to get together (virtually) and discuss current events relating to the veterinary field
- Announced VetCor’s TechLife Tuition Support Program which formalizes the company’s dedication to providing employees with additional funding to invest in their education
- Worked together to create a Tech Recruiting Pilot Program that we expect to officially launch at the end of 2021
Considering the many obstacles everyone has had to overcome during the course of the pandemic, everything the TechLife team has accomplished up to this point is nothing short of spectacular. We’re incredibly proud of them, and we look forward to watching them continue to grow and evolve while supporting our vet techs.
