Summer celebrations rival any holiday celebrations we see out there. This summer so far our teams celebrated a team members’ life event, held open houses to thank their communities, and took Pride Month to the next level.
Animal Care Center at Cherry Way - Gahanna, Ohio
So many of our teams consider themselves family. At Animal Care Center at Cherry Way they did all they could to help Dr. Clouse and his wife prepare for their baby girl expected next month. Getting together to throw him a diaper party was both a fun and helpful way to support Dr. Clouse’s growing family.
Boca Delray Animal Hospital - Delray Beach, Florida
Showing the community just how much they mean to them, the Boca Delray Animal Hospital held an open house event this summer. They prepared goodie bags and even had bandanas printed out for all who stopped by. Several stations were set up with their technicians and veterinarians for people to pop in to ask questions and learn a little bit more about the care of their pets.
Alex-Bell Veterinary Clinic - Centerville, Ohio
Alex-Bell Veterinary Clinic was glad to host an open house and offer people a more relaxed environment for them to get to know their pets’ care team better. They dedicated their own time to pull off the event which included snacks, tours, and an amazing raffle. In the end, it wasn’t just an open house but the product of a team of people who genuinely care about each other as well as the pets they see.
Norwell Service Center & Rhode Island Hospitals
Norwell Service Center and the surrounding hospitals got together to celebrate Pride Month. With a dunk tank, trivia, bingo, and so much more, the event was a great way to connect in a fun and supportive environment. Our Rhode Island practices also attended their local PrideFest. With an estimated 50,000 people in attendance, the Rhode Island teams were happy to be there representing Vetcor.
Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital - Frisco, Texas
There wasn’t a summer party at Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital, but we had to share their recent visitor, Simba in this post because of his neat party trick. Simba was in for his yearly wellness exam and vaccines, and he blew the team away with his debonair attitude. He showed off his “sit pretty” trick, usually reserved for large party crowds. His dad says it is scary how smart he actually is!
It was a feline takeover in our last blog, take a look at some of the adorable cats who graced our hospitals with their presence recently.
