Ponemah Veterinary Hospital in Amherst, New Hampshire has been added to our growing family of practices. The hospital becomes our 361st partner practice and our 11th location in the Granite State.
Originally founded in 2007 by Dr. Jennifer Edwards, Ponemah Veterinary Hospital has been providing high quality care to cats, dogs, and pocket pets for the last 13 years. This full-service animal hospital is AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and Fear Free certified.
After earning her DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College, Dr. Edwards spent two years doing veterinary relief work. From there, she spent five years working at a local practice before opening her own. Her professional interests include dermatology, pain management, laser surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. In 2012, she sought advanced dentistry training to further enhance her skills.
She works alongside Drs. Jen Estle and Troy Huelle. A New Hampshire native, Dr. Estle pursued her DVM degree at Canada’s Atlantic Veterinary College. As a member of the Society for Theriogenology, she has special interests in canine reproduction and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Huelle began his career working with animals as a zookeeper at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo. He then went on to earn his DVM degree from Kansas State University in 1999. Currently, he is the newest addition to the Ponemah team.
The doctors are supported by their hospital manager, Kendra Paul, and an enthusiastic group of veterinary technicians and receptionists who love their work.
Ponemah Veterinary Hospital offers their clients a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccines, microchipping, dentistry, and surgery.
