Community Animal Hospital of Royal Palm Beach is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to add to its dedicated team. We are an AAHA-accredited, community-based hospital that provides quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and more. Professional requirements include the following:

• Assist the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments and surgical procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples for in-house and offsite testing
• Assist with radiographs and ultrasounds under the guidance of the attending Veterinarian
• Set up, monitor, and assist in dental/surgical procedures
• Prepare and assist in surgeries, including catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring
• Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and stored
• Prepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits and provide detailed medical notes following visit
• Answering phones

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, hard-working, and energetic, suitable for our busy day practice. We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with clients, is a great team member, and has a good phone presence. Familiarity with Avimark veterinary software is great, but don't worry if you don't—we'll provide training if needed!
