Hopmeadow Animal Hospital, situated in picturesque Simsbury, Connecticut, is on the lookout for an experienced Veterinarian to join our friendly and collaborative team. Our Facility Offers:
Our modern facility is equipped with the following: ultrasound, digital radiography, high-speed dental drill, Bovie electrocautery, class 4 laser, high-quality patient monitoring and warming equipment. Additionally, we have established strong partnerships with nearby specialty and emergency practices, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. We also have a traveling internal medicine specialist that visits our practice, along with multiple sonographers, so we are able to capture full studies and echocardiograms in order to get diagnostics at our hospital. Beyond our commitment to veterinary excellence, our team actively supports the Roaring Brook Nature Center, a rehabilitation and sanctuary for wildlife.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding.
