At Montrose Pet Hospital, we take pride in our deep commitment to our staff, patients, and clients. Our smaller, stand-alone building offers a cozy environment, equipped with three exam rooms, one surgical suite, and a primary treatment area with two wet tables. Our facility includes ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and stem cell treatment, providing advanced tools for excellent care. Though we don’t offer boarding, our focus on personalized care and strong team relationships creates a warm and supportive atmosphere for everyone.
Work-Life Balance: We are seeking Part-Time Veterinarian with the flexibility to work two days a week, including 8am-5pm shifts. If you’re open to working Saturdays, or at least every other Saturday, we would love to accommodate that as well!
Supportive Team: With a 3:1 doctor-to-technician ratio and a highly skilled support staff, including 4 RVTs and 3 more in training, you’ll have the help you need to deliver excellent care.
Challenging & Diverse Cases: You’ll see an average of 13-15 patients per day with 30-minute wellness and sick appointments. We love DVMs who are excited to help us grow by handling advanced surgeries and complex medical cases.
Mentorship & Growth: We offer strong mentorship with new grad virtual orientations to introduce you to available resources and help you balance work and life. You'll be paired with a near-peer mentor for support during your transition from school to practice. We also provide access to optional virtual topic rounds and Empower Hour sessions, covering topics like client communication and financial planning. Our VetLife program includes a Slack channel for case discussions and CE opportunities, and VetLife Days allow you to visit other Vetcor clinics to learn new skills without using PTO.
Our practice focuses entirely on small animals, and we are proud to serve the local community, including our close association with Pet Rescue Association. This commitment to animal welfare is just another way we make a difference.
Montrose, often referred to as the quaintest town in Glendale, offers a charming, small-town atmosphere reminiscent Mayberry from the Andy Griffith show. Our location provides easy access to the greater Los Angeles area while maintaining a close-knit community vibe, making it an ideal place to live and work.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
