Lassiter Animal Hospital in Marietta GA is a small animal practice that has an opportunity for a full-time or part-time experienced veterinarian. We have in house ultrasound, echocardiograms, and radiographs that are read by boarded radiologists, cardiologists, and orthopedic surgeons as well as digital dental radiographs and high-speed dental equipment. Our doctors have one assistant and one technician working alongside them for each shift.
At Lassiter we try to keep all cases in house and most of our clients prefer this option. We offer consults and share cases with multiple board-certified specialists - both in house and remotely. For the tough cases, we have an Internal Medicine Specialist and a Soft Tissue surgeon that will diagnose and treat our clients’ pets in house. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with an interest in leadership, and we offer a path to a Chief of Staff position for those interested.
We also prioritize work-life balance and look to be flexible with scheduling whenever possible. Our full-time vet schedule is 3-4 days a week with rotating Saturdays. Most of our doctors have a long weekend at least once per month as part of their schedule.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
