Looking for a fresh start in a supportive environment where you are encouraged to be yourself and develop your own practice? What if you could do that while having the security of a long-standing team with a large, established, and loyal clientele? We just might be the team for you!
We are looking for an energetic practitioner to continue in a tradition of continuity of care, while caring for the entire family for the life of their pets. Our practice boasts a beautiful and spacious hospital with all the toys(digital radiology, completely capable in-house laboratory, digital full mouth dental radiographs for all dental procedures, most up-to-date anesthetic monitoring and ultrasound…to name a few). We have seven remarkable CVTs (many with referral background) and several very capable assistants. This means a ratio of at minimum 1.5-2 CVT/DVM per shift allowing our doctors to focus on their work and not sample collection, treatments, nursing care, or monitoring.
We value individuality and believe that providers of diverse interests, styles, and backgrounds allow for a breadth of rapport for a broad base of clients. Our days are scheduled with consideration for individual doctors’ comfort and preferences. We maintain a collaborative atmosphere as a team and look forward to adding a new perspective to our group. Our experienced doctors and technicians are willing to provide personalized mentorship for newer veterinarians. Surgery interest is not a requirement for this position, although very welcomed. We encourage our doctors to pursue their clinical interests with a generous CE budget.
Our location and smaller community afford the opportunity to practice in-depth high-quality medicine and promise a busy surgery schedule for those interested in maintaining or expanding their surgical skills. We are located on the shores of Lake Michigan, virtually equidistant to Milwaukee, Appleton, and Green Bay. This means specialists are close enough we can use them but far enough to keep our practice and days varied and rewarding.
In addition to working hard, we believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This means we need the time to play hard as well. We work four-day weeks, no emergency hours and we schedule records and phone time for each shift so your lunch hour can be used for lunch and a break. Our location is ideal for the “play hard” part of your story. Manitowoc is a welcoming community with many opportunities for dining, outdoor adventures and sporting activities, lakeside festivals, and even an abundant twice weekly farmers’ market right on the lakeshore. Even more, we are only a short drive to world-famous professional sporting venues, concerts, festivals, and scenic Door County.
We offer a generous and competitive salary commensurate with experience, excellent benefits, including health (dental and eye included) and liability insurance, an excellent CE budget with paid CE time off, uniform/shoe allowance, paid dues, and licensing fees, paid vacation and sick time, an employee assistance program for emotional and mental health support, deep employee discounts for pet care, products and boarding, retirement savings options and we will consider a generous relocation bonus to make moving to the lakeshore even easier!
Why not take this opportunity to write your new chapter!

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
