Kingsgate Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital proudly serving the pets of Lubbock, Wolforth, Shallowater, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to all our patients, and to educating our clients on the health of their pets. Our tenured staff is comprised of highly trained and experienced veterinary professionals. We are proud to say that our entire staff is Fear Free certified and AAFP Cat Friendly certified. We also work closely with our local Second Chance Dog Rescue and Kat’s Alley Cats.
Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply. This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate to be successful under the mentorship and guidance of our high energy and fun-loving team. We do see the occasional pocket pet, and are open to welcoming a veterinarian who wants to expand on that practice. We prioritize work-life balance and do not require any on call hours, and are closed on the weekends for you to enjoy time with your family and friends.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
