Park Avenue Animal Hospital in Apopka, FL has an opportunity for an Experienced Full-
Time Veterinarian to join our team! Our small animal practice serves our community’s cats, dogs, and a small portion of exotics, including birds of prey from the Avian Reconditioning Center in Apopka. Park Avenue offers a state-of-the-art facility with the bedside manner of a small-town doctor. We are equipped with in-house ultrasound, digital radiographs, cold laser, and an in-house Idexx lab.
This is a great opportunity for veterinarians with surgical experience! We also prioritize work- life balance and we are flexible with scheduling whenever possible. We have no after-hours or on-call requirements.
Known for our mascot, Seaver the Wonder Dog, as seen in his weekly comic in our town
newspaper, Park Avenue Animal Hospital has been voted “Best of Apopka” for the past 12
years! Our tenured team, many of whom have been with us for six years or more, provide great support to our providers, with a three-to-one tech-to-doctor ratio. What we love most about our practice is the teamwork and compassion that our team brings to our patients, as well as the relationships that we get to build with our clients and their pets. Outside of the work that we do with the Avian Reconditioning Center, we are also proud to support rescues in our community such as, Candy’s Cats and In Harmony with Nature.
A short drive from both the East and West coast of Florida and surrounded by beautiful state parks and natural springs, Apopka is truly one of a kind. Just outside of Orlando, Apopka offers easy access to city living, as well as the opportunity for more quiet living. Outside of outdoor adventures, Apopka offers great dining, and unique shopping and festivals in nearby Mount Dora. There truly is something for everyone!

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
