$32.00 - $40.00 / hour
1-year veterinary clinical experience required
The ideal candidate is proficient in the following areas:
Dog and Cat restraint
I.V catheter placement
Venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, medial/lateral saphenous)
Running in-house IDEXX lab work
Radiography
Familiarity with veterinary pharmacology
Calculating medication doses
Administering medications via all routes
Inducing Anesthesia (R.V.T.)
Intubating (R.V.T.)
Surgical monitoring
Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)
Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to decipher medical records

I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding.
