Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is looking for someone to help us provide amazing customer service to our clients. We are a busy 5 doctor practice in West County Saint Louis that treats dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles.
We are an AAHA accredited practice, so we have a very high standard for our patients as well as our employees. Because of this, we are the best in St. Louis! Team harmony and our core values matter just as much to us as helping pets.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of customer service experience (in the veterinary field is preferred, but not required).
We need someone who can work effectively with people (not just pets). Someone who has confidence and charisma that can help clients through all types of situations.
The Role
We need a part-time receptionist to work Monday and Fridays plus 2-3 Saturdays monthly. Other weekdays will be scheduled if other employee is out on PTO.
You’ll be putting clients in rooms, answering a VoIP phone system, scheduling appointments, taking messages, and accepting payments. You will be able to keep the reception area calm and welcoming.
You will be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, our front desk team utilizes a standing desk. You will be the type of person that is on time (or early) and can help cover shifts when a team member is sick or on vacation. Hard work will be important, but so are breaks, lunches, and days off.
Some light cleaning is also required.

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
