Our Veterinary Assistants are a vital part of our pet care team, ensuring excellent care for our patients and outstanding service for our clients. This role offers a fantastic training opportunity for anyone aspiring to become a Veterinary Technician.

We prefer candidates with prior experience in a veterinary practice, including:

• Conducting laboratory work
• Administering vaccinations and performing nail trims
• Assisting veterinarians with procedures
• Managing and maintaining medical records

Here’s what a typical day looks like at our practice:

• 30-Minute Appointments: Each doctor has a skilled assistant assigned to them for the day, ensuring smooth workflow and quality patient care.
• Dedicated Lunch Hour: We set aside an hour during which phones are turned off, and doors are locked, giving our team the chance to enjoy lunch either onsite or offsite without interruptions.
• 30-Minute Buffer: Before afternoon appointments resume, we schedule a 30-minute buffer to catch up on tasks, make callbacks, or address any lingering needs.
• Punctual End to the Day: After a productive afternoon of appointments, leaving on time is the norm—not the exception!

This structure helps us maintain a balanced, supportive environment where both patient care and team well-being are prioritized.

The salary range for this position is $18 - $19 / hr. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider your skills, qualifications, and experience.
