The Stratford Hills Veterinary Center, a well-established three-doctor small animal general practice, seeks to add an assistant or licensed Veterinary Technician to our friendly team. Our hospital boasts a recently renovated facility, and an enjoyable ‘Fear Free’ working environment. We are dedicated to active learning and our Technicians / Assistants play an integral role in providing excellent medical care to our patients and customer service to our clients. We provide preventative care, emergency care, routine surgical procedures, dental radiography and cleanings, laser therapy, and more.
Our ideal candidate is an established LVT or an assistant and should have the following skills:
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and rotating weekend shifts. Fear-free certification and knowledge of Avimark software are beneficial but not a requirement. Top priority will be given to experienced candidates.
Our ideal candidate is caring and compassionate, reliable, a good communicator, shows attention to detail, loves to learn, is a team player, and shows true passion for what they do. Please be able to lift at least 40 lbs and have the ability to spend long stretches of time actively on your feet.

I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
