Are you looking for that next step in your career? Berwick Veterinary Care is looking for a Hospital Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will help create a collaborative yet engaging work environment. They will also love working with people; excelling in client service and comfortable multitasking in an ever-changing environment. Previous veterinary clinic experience is required, as well as experience in a supervisory/lead role. Priority will be given to technician candidates with surgical expertise, and a love for coaching and mentoring. We have tremendous support to train the right candidate looking for growth
The Hospital Manager will be responsible for operational oversight of our hospital, including the leadership of the technician and receptionist support teams; managing financial and business development of the practice, including managing the budget and key performance indicators. This position will also require regular shifts working “on the floor,” commensurate with experience (i.e., if you have technician experience, you will work as a technician or if you have reception experience, you will work reception), as the need arises.

There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
