The Cat Doctor was founded in 1988 with a guiding principle of “Cats are not small dogs” and should not be treated as such. For over 30 years we have practiced compassionate care for our feline friends while keeping up to date on medical and surgical guidelines. We boast Cat-Friendly Practice (CFP) Gold status and utilize Fear Free and Low-Stress Handling standards of medicine. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding.
