Experienced DOG groomer needed! No cats! Amazing opportunity for an experienced groomer! Join our team to support our loyal clients and adorable patients!
The ideal candidate is well-versed in grooming techniques and cuts for all breeds of dogs and has excellent client service skills. Current industry experience is required, we have an established client base, but the sky is the limit for growth.
Strawberry Hill Groom and Board, affiliated with Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital, was established in 1987 and has served the dogs in the Norwalk area for the past 37 years. We have a loyal existing client base, and often book them out for the entire year ahead so they can reserve their slots in a regular grooming schedule. Our groomer has a dedicated room with a window looking out on the bank of cages housing the dogs being groomed. Bathing is done in our Dog Wash with raised platforms for easier bathing.
This is a full-time commission-based position with a flexible schedule – though at least one Saturday shift per month may be required. Currently, our groomer works one Saturday per month, and those are often coveted slots

I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
