December 19, 2023
This is our last post for 2023 highlighting our amazing hospital teams and the patients they serve. It has been a year full of team building, animal bonding, and milestone celebrations. Here are a few stories from the past couple of weeks to warm your heart as we head into the holiday.
Springfield Animal Hospital - Springfield, Virginia
Noor came in for his exam at Springfield Animal Hospital, but he got spooked in the parking lot and got stuck under the hood owner’s car. It was still hot from the running engine, but he only had minor injuries thanks to the quick thinking of the staff including Erika, the receptionist, who crawled under the car to help him out. Noor will heal quickly and will likely be in a carrier for his visits from now on.
Norwell Veterinary Hospital - Norwell, Massachusetts
Dr. Watson got to hang out with Robi, the Flemish Giant last week. What a treat to see this big guy, one of the largest breeds of domestic rabbits. He had a wound which was taken care of with a tender touch. Robi’s mom, Sara, is very thankful for the great care he received at Norwell Veterinary Hospital.
Laughery Valley Veterinary Hospital - Dillsboro, Indiana
When a pet goes missing, our teams are always there to use their connections to help them find their way back home. This is Mule, who slipped away from his yard (again!). He hung out at Laughery Valley Veterinary Hospital while they put out a message to all their followers. His owner quickly got word and he is back home, but not before he got his fair share of treats and pets from the team. His little brother is happy they are together again.
Dunnville Veterinary Clinic - Dunnville, ON, Canada
Getting lost in all the snuggles is how you know you have found your people. The team at Dunnville Veterinary Clinic doted on sweet Wrangler, a puppy who came in for his visit. His mom shared that he loved his time at the clinic and welcomes all the hugs from everyone, all the time.
Country Veterinary Clinic - Ludington, Michigan
Travis is known to be a spicy purrito, but this time he has a reason to be grumpy. An x-ray showed he had a toddler fork in his belly. He had to be wrapped up to control his feisty paws. The team at Country Veterinary Clinic is taking care of Travis, but will likely leave his wrap on as long as possible.
See how our teams go the extra mile to ensure each and every patient is comfortable and has a great visit.
