VetLife at Vetcor is a support system designed by veterinarians for veterinarians. Our team members benefit from real-time collaboration, nationwide knowledge sharing, and resources tailored to every career stage. Professional Development
The Mentorship Certification Program celebrated 107 graduates in the 2024 class, a significant increase from 42 graduates in 2023. This program provides a structured framework that fosters growth not only as veterinarians but also as compassionate, well-rounded professionals.
The Emerging Leaders Program concluded its inaugural class with 32 graduates in 2024. Through this program, team members enhance their emotional intelligence, empowering them to positively influence peers and coworkers.
VetLife Days continues to offer veterinarians the opportunity to learn new skills, observe different workflows, and find inspiration at other Vetcor hospitals. This initiative has proven effective for both new graduates and seasoned vets.
Collaborative Community
VetLife on Slack is an online community where our veterinarians are able to post questions and cases to peers. They also have a bit fun trying to win the coveted “case of the month” contest be it a compound odontoma, or cryptorchid castration and paraprostatic cyst removal.
VetLife also produces a monthly newsletter that not only announces the “case of the month” winner but also introduces our veterinarians to key team members, events, CE opportunities, and lets them know where they can connect with Team Vetcor at upcoming tradeshows.

Looking Ahead
This year VetLife kicked off a new series focused on wellness. VetWell, sponsored by Zoetis is designed to help team members manage stress, handle mistakes, improve communication, and achieve a healthy work-life balance. These sessions are all RACE approved. On top of that, team members are invited to join monthly virtual yoga.
Starting this month, all team members also have the opportunity to join a veterinary oncology series sponsored by Torigen. This four-part speaking series covering oncology in general practice and is exclusively for Vetcor hospitals.
