VetCor Welcomes Orchard Veterinary Hospital

We're excited to share that Orchard Veterinary Hospital in South Burlington, Vermont has been added to our growing family of practices. The hospital becomes our 372nd partner practice and our sixth location in the Green Mountain State.
Founded by Dr. John Eustis, Orchard Veterinary Hospital has been providing compassionate care to cats and dogs since 2007. Since then, the hospital has become a staple of the local community.
After graduating from Canada’s Atlantic Veterinary College, Dr. Eustis traveled through West Africa and the Middle East while working as a small animal veterinarian. When he arrived back in the states, he purchased a practice in Durango, Colorado, before moving back to the East Coast to raise his children closer to his family. In 2005, he sold his practice in Durango and worked as a relief veterinarian until he realized that there was a shortage of veterinarians in the Shelburne Road area of Burlington which led him to establish Orchard Veterinary.
Dr. Eustic works alongside Dr. Alison (Sunny) Knox. A graduate of Cornell University, Dr. Knox has worked at Orchard Veterinary Hospital for the past seven years. She first met Dr. Eustis while working as a relief veterinarian in addition to working part-time at a feline-only animal hospital and has been part of the Orchard Veterinary team ever since.
The doctors are supported by their longtime hospital manager, Jessica Harms-Chicoine, who made the move from Colorado to Burlington, and a small but mighty team of veterinary technicians and receptionists who love their work.
Orchard Veterinary Hospital provides their clients with a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, and surgery. They emphasize the importance of community involvement as a way to effectively make an impact on the human-animal bond.
