Ocoee Animal Hospital is the newest addition to the VetCor family – bringing our total number of locations to nine in the Peach State.
Originally founded in 1978 by Dr. Hal Stolz, Ocoee Animal Hospital was purchased in 1983 by Drs. Garry Day and Michael Zager, who has since retired. Four years later, Dr. Fran Miske became a co-owner and several years after that, Dr. Philip Arnall also joined the group as an owner. These days, this full-service animal hospital provides compassionate care to companion animals in the Blue Ridge area.
Drs. Day and Miske are graduates of the University of Tennessee while Dr. Arnall received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA), Dr. Day takes pride in practicing high quality medicine. Dr. Arnall’s special interests include surgery and dentistry.
They are joined by Drs. Deanna Belyeu, Desiree Stensing, and Jenny Farr. A graduate of Auburn University, Dr. Belyeu has been with Ocoee Animal Hospital for 20 years. Like Dr. Belyeu, Dr. Stensing graduated from Auburn University. Her interests include emergency medicine, infectious diseases, shelter medicine, internal medicine, and ultrasound. Dr. Farr graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 and is particularly interested in surgery, internal medicine, and exotics.
The doctors are supported by their longtime hospital manager, Wanda Denslow, and a hardworking of veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, kennel assistants, and receptionists.
Ocoee Animal Hospital offers their clients a variety of services, ranging from wellness exams and vaccines to dentistry and surgery. They strive to help their clients make sure their pets live the long, healthy lives they deserve.
It’s our pleasure to have partnered with such a well-loved practice. Please join us in welcoming Drs. Day, Miske, and Arnall and their team, as well as the clients and patients at Ocoee Animal Hospital, to the VetCor family!
