Engaging Communities, Celebrating Pet Owners

Community events hold a special place in the team's hearts at South Bay Veterinary Hospital. Recently, the hospital was invited to participate in Tumwater Dog Days, a community event outside of Olympia Washington that celebrates the special bond between humans and their furry friends. This year the wonderful South Bay veterinarians – Dr. Herbert, Dr. Molitor, and Dr. Shoemaker – were on hand to engage with pet owners, answer questions, and connect with the community they proudly serve.

Events like these are especially meaningful to the team because they allow staff to meet the clients firsthand and see their pets enjoying a carefree summer day. Peter, a South Bay client, shared his experience: “I finally got the chance to meet Dr. Herbert, who did such a terrific job on Jonesey's surgery this spring! He spotted her walking with me and called her over. We had a great morning.”

In addition to community events like Dog Days, South Bay Vet actively partners with local elementary schools and senior centers throughout the year. For the team at South Bay, contributing to the well-being of the community they call home is simply part of what it means to be a trusted name in veterinary care.
