Countryside Veterinary Hospital has a great opportunity for a part-time veterinarian to join our progressive multi-doctor practice! We offer in-house laparoscopy, endoscopy, echocardiography, ultrasound, laser surgery, and some orthopedics and are willing to train the right candidate. The candidate who has completed an internship in surgery and medicine will appreciate this position most as will a veterinarian passionate about learning growing and working in a fast-paced environment.
Countryside has been honored nationally as AAHA 2010 Practice of the Year as a Veterinary Economics Practice of Excellence in 2000 and as a Merit Award winner in the 2011 Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition. We have developed a unique bond with long-time clients and patients while still warmly welcoming new clients to our family. Our practice provides a wide array of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures not usually found in most small animal practices. Our caseload includes many exotic pets.
Bordered by the Merrimack River to the north and the Concord River to the east there’s lots to do under the open sky in Chelmsford, MA including a popular rail-trail, swimming at Freeman Lake and Heart Pond, and visiting the several beautiful reservations. Or jump in the car for a quick weekend getaway to Boston or to the mountains or lakes in New Hampshire.
Benefits include superior salary, medical benefits (including health, dental and vision), 401(k), employee assistance program (EAP), CE allowance, vacation, dues, liability coverage, and so much more.
Our practice has a positive, wellbeing focused culture that we’d love to tell you about. Get the conversation started by applying today!
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
